The Kapiti Joggers & Walkers meet on every Sunday of the year (except Xmas Day), gathering at the named location at 8am, setting off at 8.15 and aiming to return by 9.30. There is a leader each week for each of the two sections - a joggers group and a walkers group. People take it in turns to lead. Our walkers group covers about 7kms at a moderate pace for approximately 1¼ hours. The group allows for occasional regroups at strategic points, to allow slower people to catch up. The runners cover about 10km in the 1¼ hours at about 6-7 minutes per km pace. As with the walkers, there are regroups along the way.
